God bless the internet! without having all these lovely blogs to read, there are people I would never have "met," books I would never have read, places I would never have "visited." Such a great gift. Thank you for sharing your part in it. Hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas! xoxo Carol aka Canadian Chickadee

  14. Frances, The days are creeping by and soon it will be be the New Year. So sending you lots of good wishes for 2015.
We have a very frosty day here, been for a short walk along some slippery roads. It was lovely to see all the frosted leaves and the sky was pink at sunset. I came home thinking how many beautiful things I have just seen. And as I enjoy a hot chocolate and a warm mince pie by a warm fire, so much to be grateful for.
Wishing you a wonderful year !
    Take care.x

  15. Milly, I do like the sound of those frosty days and walks, since it was strangely warm here over Christmas. I think that the chill will be with us as we greet 2015.

A very Happy New Year to you! xo

  18. Hello Frances,

We have been away for so long and have missed you.

2014 seems but a distant memory now as 2015 is already advancing at a rapid rate. We do so hope that you had an enjoyable Christmastide and that the New Year will bring you joy, peace and success.

The park improvements look wonderful. The fountain is a great addition and we can well imagine that there will be many selfies taken on that spot.

In the Winter one does notice the small details so much more as there are fewer distractions for the eye. How brave that small clump of Snowdrops looks. Can Spring be far away?
